Multilevel Augmentation Methods for Solving Operator Equations

We will describe an abstract setting for multilevel augmentation methods for solving operator equations including differential equations and integral equations. Theoretical estimates of optimal order of convergence, condition number and computational complexity will be presented. We will also discuss specific construction of bases for the methods in solving two point boundary value problems of differential equations and integral equations.
